Whiskers everywhere! :D

Yes! Prickly fuzzy whiskers..lots of them. They also have mounds of them from the lower jaw and various locations on the face. Will get pics soon.

Yep! Lots and lots, long ones, short ones and intermediary ones. Very neat to see the whisker and hair pattern around the muzzle and how it differs from cats and dogs.

It is! The bristly whiskers were not soft but the area is velvety smooth otherwise.

Hyenas do have ENORMOUS noses

*waggwagg* Dog noses and muzzles are wonderful structures! So well designed! I love how the noses are designed for running and efficient venting of exhales. I love their texture and little creases. What are the little bumps on a dog's lips called on the sides of their muzzles? Know what I mean? hehe I am so glad to see some moment on your FA account! I was thinking about you the other day!
