here it is for those who dont wanna download it. FYI, this is not fiction.
The Scary Face (as I Referred to It all those years ago):
I was 5 years old, and my mom had put me in the left hand bedroom of the two bedrooms upstairs.
In the wall between the two rooms, there was a cut-out section where she was going to put some book shelves.
Now, i always hated the other room, which was the guest room.
My mom always said it was my imagination, but I heard things and felt things in there that were not good.
Anyway, one night, I was sound asleep when I hear a dulled voice say something to me. I started to stir, and said "Mom?" , but then I realized my mom was asleep downstairs. I started to get nervous, then I heard the voice again.
It was a female voice speaking. It said "Peaceful sleep will come." I said, "Who are you?" and again I heard "Peaceful sleep will come." I said, "What do you mean?", and the last time i heard the voice, clear as day it said, "Peaceful sleep will come, but first comes the Scary Face."
I started to become very afraid, and said "what?". As the voice faded away , I heard "You will understand, for it comes now." I turned my head towards the hole in the wall, and I saw a pale face. But it wasnt just pale.
It was burned, sliced shredded, scarred, and cracked. Basically, take everything you have ever read, watched, and seen that scared you, and throw it all together, and thats what it looked like. As i sat frozen, staring at it, it just floated for a few seconds, then it looked up at me and opened its "eyes" and "mouth". Where eyes should have been, there were pits of nothingness, and it was the same with the mouth. And then it screamed.
I heard its scream not in the room, but in the back of my head and in my ears. At the time, the only way I could describe the sound was as if a thousand tortured souls all began wailing at once. Even though it lasted for just a few seconds, it felt like an eternity, the whole time my mind felt as if it would snap in two. Then, after a few more seconds, I realized I was screaming bloody murder. I heard my mom running from her room, though the sounds were dulled, as if muffled by a barrier. She threw on the hall light and the face disappeared. I jumped out of bed and practically flew down the stairs, white as a sheet of paper and crying my eyes out. I crashed next to her bed for the rest of the night. The next day she blocked up the opening in the wall upstairs, and from that point on, I have slept w/ a light on and locked my closet door, to this day.
