How the Two Worlds are Linked Together
In my own universe, there exist a world parallel to the human world called the Lizard world, a alternate version of earth inhabited by humanoid lizards that is connected by it's counterpart thanks to special interdimensional holes. These allow anyone to travel to the other world in the blink of an eye. There are variations to them like certain tunnels one can drive through and massive ones for train transport from one world to another.
