And it's done! Here we have video gaming's finest female protagonist in my first complete, from scratch art in...well, a very long time.
There's still a lot of things off with this and I'm not too sure on some of the colour/lighting changes I added in after the WIP. I've also noticed that are some less smooth bits here and there and the visor is fairly off.
(Of course there's also the horrible attempt at a hand! >.<)
In any case, this was done in somewhere between 3 and 6 hours (probably about 5) using the GIMP and drawn (with reference pics admittedly) via my laptop's touchpad.

Samus Aran and Metroid are (C) of Nintendo. If I owned Metroid, do you really think I'd be here? Other M would have some major changes and a Metroid Prime-style game would be about to be released for the 3DS.
