Despite being quite owl-like, Don can't actually see well. So he relies on Nara, who sees very well even at lower light conditions, to see for him.
Idk what they're looking for here, I think maybe food or even animals that might need some help... Or just a general stroll to see if the forest is alright. (no forest fires, etc)
