Still can't believe they have those guys wandering around the house. I'd definitely have at least a net box, or something over my face, so there aren't any accidental arachnid's dropping onto my face... But still, I can believe why they'd cuss a lot with all the stuff spooking them :)
Good news, a spider that big means it's a huntsman spider. Those are friendly, if terrifying. So no need for a con saving throw to deal with one. The wis saving throw on the other hand.... Especially when they start moving (those things are way faster than they have any right to be)
