I've always called them "midquels", since the prefix "inter-" means "connecting across" to me, like interstate and intercontinental. So an interquel would bridge two existing movies, like TLK 1.5 did for TLK 1 and TLK 2, but wouldn't work for TFaH since it (currently) doesn't have a true sequel.
