The bull grimaced as his muscles bulged, as he put every last bit of effort into trying to make Jaran move an inch. For his part Jaran did feel himself have to try to keep his arm in place, but a mental nod to Anubis gave him a surge of strength in his arm, and all risk of losing evaporated.
