During this month I’ve been working on Avian August, and this is the final mosaic. I felt like uploading every portrait one by one would clog my FA gallery. It was my first time trying to follow an art challenge like this, and I’m glad I managed to survive the entire length.

All the species presented were given by the official prompt list, this year celebrating the avifauna of Hawai’i. Since the list included the conservation status of each species, I felt compelled to include it, in the form of colour-coded backgrounds.

I am aware some names contain typos. I misread the prompt list when I wrote them and could not be bothered to re-export them.
