A few months ago, Equestria Daily conducted a poll that asked if (The Great and Powerful) Trixie offered to turn you into a pony and teleport you to Ponyville, with no going back, would you do it?
The answer, not surprisingly, was overwhelmingly "yes." But that got me to thinking: What if Trixie found out about this poll? I think she would see it as a brilliant money-making scheme and start turning people into ponies in order to finance her evil plans. Plans for revenge? Who knows? Stay tuned...

At the very least, there probably isn't a bank in Equestria that would convert dollars to bits. ^_^;;
I kinda got the feeling that she couldn't really do a lot of things, just that she guided the show to show off the talents she did have. Maybe it's just because of the lie story about the Ursa Major that did it. *shrugs* Too bad she never shows up again, though.
Though, if she's able to go back and forth, perhaps Earth money won't be completely useless. She could set up shop on Earth, importing and exporting goods between Earth and Equestria... >.>

This plan might make more sense if we knew the exchange rate between the American dollar and the Equestrian bit. Though I suppose she could specify "gold only".
And yeah, I think a lot of bronies would take this. Heck, I can think of some non-bronies who, if they found out what life in Equestria was like, would be willing to emigrate.

I read the entry on EqD and found some of it very amusing, like the guy who said, "What about a girlfriend?"

Though they did bring up one good point: "Can we actually trust a hack like Trixie to pull this off without doing something awful?"

I'd do it and spend the money if:
1) Is there a money-back guarantee?
2) Will I be able to sire Pony after Pony (I would want to be a productive member of society you understand).
3) Will all my aches and pains be removed with this change?
4) Will I live forever (no likely, but I'd have to know)?

I'd almost definately say yes, cause my life is hell here, and Ponies are the only thing keeping me from going clinically insane... again... so I'd most likely say yes to this ^^

If Trixie's involved and she's allowed to get her magic into you, I would imagine it'd be not only for financial gain in the short term but some sort of control over the transformed down the road. I wonder what they'd say if they learned that later they would become Trixie's servants/slaves later on and help her overthrow Celestia.
