A piece for the EF artshow.
This turned out a bit different from what I'd intended but it still looks quite nice in real life. It's done in marker, pencil and pastel on Bristol board.
For a change I will also say: no crits please. :) I have a good idea already. Thanks!

A lot of what I said on the Krystal piece applies here, to a lot of your work really. I do see more of an effect on the fur with different colors giving a sense of the fur laying in different ways as it grows differently across the body or potentially having different shades due to a natural inconsistency in color that occurs, giving some effect of realism. Even without features like eyebrows, I still see a lot of emotion in the facial expression. A very good blend of cartoon like and realistic style.
A big thing I like in this piece is the consistency of the background setting to the fox. Aside from some obvious texture flow difference for fur versus stone, the texturing and quality compare to her and really makes the piece feel like a whole, that she is not a foreign object to the world around her.
Someday, I'd like to have room on my wall for a beautiful piece like this. If by "no crits" you believe it had flaws, it's still amazing, and beyond what I can imagine doing.
