It started with the monitors alerting them, they then noticed movement from the egg and knew that it was ready to hatch. They watch the egg intently, excitement grew as the first cracks started showing. The moment they have been waiting for was finally here. Imperia wasn’t here to share in the moment but she will no doubt be happy to see the end result, a healthy baby Dra-. The excitement immediately died when a piece of the egg floated away and a tail that was clearly not a Dralic’s emerged. As more pieces floated away, more of the baby was revealed. Smooth red skin, short face, blue hair. The baby was a Kamina.

Eryn covered her mouth as tears welled up in her eyes before falling, how could this happen? Did she make a mistake? Was this her fault? Cinata stood in place, too stunned to move. Cassandra’s shock morphed into glee. This was amazing. Despite their best efforts, the Kamina’s genes won out. Truly remarkable. Liana stared at the baby in shock, how could she let this happen? But a new feeling was staring to emerge. Pride. Pride that this baby, her daughter had beaten the odds and emerged a Kamina. A Kamina that shared her blood, a Kamina that she had created with her colleagues. A single tear of happiness fell down the side of her face as she stared lovingly at her new daughter.
