A paw story, just because I've never actually based a story on paw, although I've had it in every now and then. It's actually growing on me. I like Macro/Micro interaction of paw, from playful to crush. Same size with a paw smushed into someones face just doesn't do anything for me.
So this story is just as long as any of the others...although it seems that hardly anything actually happens. May be a bad ending, I don't know. Then again, anything with a non fatal ending to me is bad. Ha!
Half way down and now I think I'll start on another tomorrow since I start my weekend tomorrow. Sooner these are done, sooner I can do a small little project that I want to add to these...then a larger project. What could it be?
But I'd just like to thank all who read my stories. I've been getting a lot of suportive comments.
Prologue: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6185084
…Flare. You stand in front of the door, preparing yourself for the crawl under, problem was, there was no space between the door and the floor. Unlike the front door or any of the other doors you noticed as you walked past, Flare’s door seemed to touch the carpeted floor. You stood in front, scouting a possible entrance, but coming up short. ‘Maybe you should make another choice’ you thought, looking around at the other doors. You begin to walk off in another direction when you hear thumping sounds coming from the other side of the corridor. You turn in that direction to see one of the doors opening. You were too far away to see what the name said but it was obvious when a giant, anthropomorphic Leafeon walked out and down the corridor in your direction. You ran up to Flare’s door and lined yourself up in the corner of the door and its frame, trying to hide yourself. You knew you were trying to bring attention to yourself, but if you wanted Lea’s attention, you would have gone to her door. You pushed yourself as much as you could into the corner, hoping she would just walk past. Instead she turned to face Flare’s door. Her giant paws weren’t very far from you, in fact, if you had stayed where you were at first, and she had not seen you, she would have defiantly stepped on you for sure.
Lea knocks on Flare’s door. You can hear Flare’s paw steps on the other side. The door swings inwards, causing you to fall backwards into Flare’s room. You instantly feel the enormous hear, resinating from her room and immediately begin to sweat. “Could you turn down the heat in here? It’s leaking through the vents and into my room again and you know how much I hate heat.”
“Sorry about that, I didn’t realize it was so high.” Flare replies to Lea’s complaint as she closes the door, trapping you inside. You hide up against the wall as Flare walks toward the other side of her room, to a giant heater. This wasn’t any normal heater. Granted it would have obviously been bigger to you than any other, but it was huge in comparison to Flare herself. She walked up to a small control panel on the side and began to push buttons. The heater, which was creating a very low hum, stopped as the red, glowing wires within, burnt out to a cool white colour. But regardless of the heater being turned off, it was still hot in here, and a puddle of sweat began to pool around your feet. You had no chance of getting back out through the door yourself, you had to get Flare to open it, but first you needed her attention.
It wasn’t like you were going to die or nothing, but it was a pretty intense heat. You staggered across the room to Flare who now sat at her bed, reading a book entitled, ‘The Da Smeargle Code’. ‘Now that’s just weird’ you thought to yourself as you continued your struggle towards her. You were only 1/¬¬¬¬3 of the way there when Flare quickly lowered her book and stared up. Her nose began to twitch as she smelt out a smell, odd to her. You quickly looked down at the ground, noticing you instantly. A strange look in her eyes made you feel uneasy. Slowly, Flare lowered her book onto her bed and slowly got off her bed and onto the floor. As if not to scare you off, she moved very slowly as she got on all fours. She lowered her head to the floor and pulled her elbows into her chest. Her hind legs lifted her back side up from the ground, putting her at a downwards angle. Her tail began to swish in the air, like a lasso, only not as fast. Her ass began to wiggle in the air, with the movements of her tail. Almost instantly, her hands pushed off the ground, lifting her body into the air as she lowered her hind legs closer to the ground. Her movement resembled that of a seesaw, but when she had moved in the opposite position of her stance, she pushed out with her hind legs, propelling herself forward, towards you. Flare had pounced at you. Running back, in your head, wasn’t going to help you. Instead you ran forward, having an idea of the outcome. You ran, looking up as Flare’s face seemed to hover over your tiny body. Flare was caught off guard by your movements towards her. Her hands followed you as her face came down into the floor, causing the rest of her body to follow and hit the floor. Flare pushed herself up from the ground with her hands, her knees on the ground. “Ow! That hurt!” she exclaimed, before getting up off of the floor. Flare looked down at the floor, searching for you, but failed to find you. “Where did it go?”
You opened your eyes, not knowing what to expect. You open them to see only yellow. ‘Where am I?’ You step forward, running into the yellow. You could feel the yellow, it was an odd texture, soft but…broken. You could actually grab it, hold on to it. The yellow began to swirl around you, vibrating. Not having the time to think, you do grab onto it, and hold on tight, as you’re lifted off your feet. ‘Not the best idea!’ you scream in your head as you’re lifted off into the air. You begin to swing and you swing into the yellow, which gives off a very soft stop to your movements. You look in the opposite direction and can make out some colours of Flare’s room from between patches of yellow. “Where did it go?” A voice called out from above. It wasn’t easy, but you were sure you knew where you were. The view of Flare’s room shifted to the right, as you could now see her bed. It began to get closer before you realized you were moving closer to it. You were right above it when your vision was swung to the right at such a speed, you were sure you would have slipped off and let go. You then descend a small height before coming to a stop. Now that everything had stopped moving, you now had the time to think, but you also just now noticed how cool it was. It was surprising cool considering the room was making you sweat on the spot. Regardless of how cool this area was, you couldn’t stay here. Using the yellow like a rope, you began to climb down. You soon came to a visible patch within the yellow. A red patch was right below you. It looked pretty close and soft. You let go of the yellow and land on the red. Instantly, your feet felt like they were on fire, you looked down to find that they were. The pain caused you to jump up, falling on your back and rolling down the red, through the yellow. As you rolled over, you felt your body light up in flames.
Flare could not find the creature she had pounced at, so turned back towards her bed. She reached it then spun around again and sat back down, picking up her book and continuing her reading. After about half a page, Flare could feel something wiggling in her mane. She looked down to see the creature she has pounced at, roll out from her mane and down her belly, on fire. It soon rolled down, over her crotch, and off onto the bed. It then rolled back and forth until the flames were extinguished. It lay there, motionless. Flare pulled her legs back behind her as she now sat on her knees, on her bed, bending down and staring at the creature. You were feeling the pain, even after you had extinguished the flames. You lay there, too afraid to check yourself for your injuries. After lying down for a few minutes, you slowly push yourself up from the bed, and check yourself. Your skin seemed to be perfectly fine, little red but no major burns. You must have put it out fast enough. But your clothes were completely burnt up. Giant holes in everything you wore were all held up by a few strands of fabric that was completely blackened. You could feel a warm wind coming from behind. It caused a little pain on your reddened skin. You turn to meet with a giant, black nose. Flare was on the other end of that nose, as she studied you closely.
“You’re not a Pokémon!” She exclaimed, looking you over.
“And you had to pounce at me to realize that?” you shouted back.
“Sorry but it’s in my nature to chase smaller Pokémon.”
“Well why did you set me on fire?”
“That’s your fault for touching me when I was heating myself. I can reach 1,650o body heat you know.” (Fact, look it up.)
“But your beds not on fire.”
“Flame retardant sheets.”
“But I was in your mane and it was so cool in there.”
“I can fluff out my mane to cool down my body temperature.” (Fact too.)
“Well what are you going to do to me now?”
“I don’t know. I don’t even know what you are. You’re not one of them new Pokémon are you? I’ve seen some of them and I don’t like most of them already.”
“No, like you said, I’m not a Pokémon.”
“Well if you’re not a Pokémon, what are you?”
“A human.”
“Never heard of it.”
“Obviously.”
“I’m not sure I like your attitude.”
“Sorry, I just need help.”
“Help with what?”
You begin to tell Flare your story, of how you ended up on the sidewalk, and followed the giant Eevee, known as Eve to this house, all until you put yourself out of the flames.
“Well what do you expect me to do?”
“I was hoping you’d maybe have an idea of what happened.”
“And why would I?”
“Well there’s got to be a reason I ended up outside your house isn’t there?”
“Not necessarily.”
“Well I’d be safer with the help of someone of a larger size at least.”
“I guess…”
“Maybe your sisters can help?”
“Doubt it. One’s a child, one’s hyperactive, one’s afraid of small creatures, one’s nocturnal, one’s way to shy, one’s too cruel and I’m sure the other would try to eat you.”
“What?!”
“Don’t ask me, it’s the way they are.”
“And here I thought you were the mean one after what you said to Eve.”
“I’m the oldest and need to keep us able to live with each other. It’s just us, and do you know how hard it is to live with seven other sisters?”
“I can’t stand living with one.”
You notice Flare giving you a frown at your comment.
“But I guess you’re tougher than me then.”
“Damn straight!”
There’s a silence as Flare stares at you, and you stare back. She reaches out a hand towards you. You jump back just moments from contact. “Woah! Won’t that set me on fire again?” Flare pulled back her hand. “Oh! I’m so sorry for that. I had completely forgotten that I was heated up. It’s so usual to me that I don’t even notice.” Flare gets up off her bed and stand in the middle of the room. She begins to fluff her mane which rapidly cools her down. She lowers her hand onto her bed and rests the back of her hand on the sheets, next to you. A little uneasy, you reach your hand and hover it above her palm. You smack it down on her hand and quickly retreat it. Nothing. You lower your hand onto her palm and touch it, holding still on top. It’s warm, but not hot. You pull yourself on top and sit down. “What now?” Flare looked straight ahead and stared. “Aren’t you tired?” “Why would I be tired?” you ask, turning to face what Flare stared at. She was staring out the window, to the dark, night sky which was now filled with stars and a large, moon glow. You didn’t feel all that tired. “Not really.” Flare just stares at you. “Well as much as I’d like to help you, I’m tired and I need to get some sleep.”
“What do I do then?”
“Either you sleep too or you just wait around. I wouldn’t recommend wandering the corridor at night, let alone one of my sister’s rooms.”
Flare puts her book on a little unit next to her bed and pulls her sheets over her chest. She places you on top of the unit and reaches for the lamp on the small unit. “If you’re going to sleep, you can sleep with me, but be careful, I tend to fidget in my sleep.” Flare then turns off the light and, in the moonlight; you see her roll over, showing her moon lit back to you.
You weren’t tired but you didn’t want to wait here, sitting on the hard wooden top of the unit. Waiting for eight hours seemed pointless, you felt like exploring, but you were unsure whether you should listen to Flares warning about the corridor at night. As dangerous as it could be, you were considering it, just for the possibility to see things that no one else had ever seen in their lives. However a sudden thought hit you. You couldn’t possibly explore the house. Flares door was an obstacle that you could not pass without the help of Flare herself. It would seem stupid to wake Flare up to let you out, just after she warned you not to. There was nothing to explore in Flare room…except Flare herself. No, that’s wrong, she’s trying to help you and you taking advantage of your problem and her kindness was the last thing you should do. You’ve seen Flare get pretty mad for a little rule breaking. Breaking her privacy could potentially send her in a rage. Well, best thing was to sleep, and not on this hard wood. You jump down from the unit and onto the bed, barely a distance away. You make you way towards Flare, coming to a stop behind her back. Her mane ran around her neck, making it a possibility to climb over to her front, where you believe it to be the safest. Although, she might wake up from you tugging at her mane and you don’t want that. You could go around her head, but the pillow was very soft. A wrong step could send you tumbling into her head. You stare down her back as it disappears under the sheets. Could go that way, although longer, it may make you tired enough to sleep. You weigh up your options again one last time before taking off down her back.
You began to enter the darkness of the sheets. They were quite thick, blocking out the moonlight from guiding your way. ‘Maybe this was a bad idea.’ You thought, preparing to turn back. Unfortunately, Flare, in her sleep, moved her hand over the entrance of the sheets, blocking out the light that shone out the front, placing you in pitch darkness with a lost sense of direction. Trying to remember your turns, you try to work out which direction you’re facing. Sure that you got the right bearings, you begin to walk slowly in that direction. It seemed clear, you didn’t bump into Flare, so you weren’t facing her, although, you weren’t out from under the sheets yet. You were starting to fret whether you were heading in the right direction or heading over the edge of the bed. You slow down your slow pace, and begin to crawl on the bed, to make sure you were safe. Your head soon bumped into a soft object. You reached a hand out and felt it, it felt familiar. You grab hold, trying to get a tight grip to better understand where you felt this before. Suddenly, you were pulled at an alarming rate, off into an unknown direction. The object you clung to lifted you off your feet, and brushed your head against the sheets. You wanted to let go, but you didn’t know exactly how high from the bed you were, or whether you would have been flung with momentum, right off the edge. All you could do was hang on. Your body soon touched down, back on the bed as it then began to be dragged across it. This being your only chance, you let go and come to a stop on your belly. You could still hear the rustling of the sheets as the moving object kept on with its rampage. You got back up slowly; just managing to stand up straight before the object came back, whacking you in the chest. You began to stumble backwards, about to fall over. You were beginning to fall over, but fell into something. It was soft, but with a rough texture. It gave off an odd smell, not a pleasant smell, but not a horrible smell. You ran your hand across this new find, finding it split off into two. You felt as the texture changed from rough, to soft, and back to rough again. It seemed to split in the soft area. You could feel a large gap between this split, large enough for you to maybe slip through. Problem is, you didn’t know exactly what you’d be slipping through. With no better ideas, you reach your hands through and pull yourself between; the smell became a little stronger here, and was more on the side of horrible than pleasant. You gat half way through before you found your waist stuck. ‘Great!’ you think, trying to pull yourself back out. The object around you began to twitch. It was not a good sign. They began to compress on your body, squeezing the air out of you. You gasped for air but the smell was all you could get. You wanted to fight, but with the lack of oxygen, you just pass out.
“Hey……alright? ……look…to……you…alive?” You open your eyes to find yourself in Flare palm, sun shining into the room. Flare seemed to have a curious look on her face, you were expecting worried. “You don’t seem all that worried.” You weakly reply.
“It’s because I’m a little curious of what you were thinking.”
“I was thinking you don’t look all that worried.”
“No not now, last night.”
“I don’t know what happened last night.”
“You got yourself stuck is what happened.”
“Stuck in what?”
“You really don’t know?”
“No. I was trying to go to sleep, but I didn’t want to sleep behind you in case you rolled over. I couldn’t climb over your mane because I didn’t want wake you and I was sure I’d fall into your head if I went around it. So I went the long way. I got lost in the darkness, and something threw me around under the covers.”
“You mean this?” Flare swings her tail around from behind herself and rests it next to you. You feel it, and it felt the same as the object last night. No wonder it felt familiar. It’s the same fur as her mane.
“I told you I fidget in my sleep.”
“Then what was I stuck in?”
Flare lifts her paw up from the bed, up into the air as she wriggles her toes.
“I thought you were trying to take advantage of me in my sleep with a weird fetish you had. Good thing you weren’t, it might have just made me mad enough to do something regrettable.”
You gulped. Good thing you didn’t try to take advantage of her last night like you first thought. Flare gets up from sitting on her bed and sits on her knees before falling down to the bed on her chest, leaving you to free fall back into her hand.
“So you would have had a horrible night last night.”
“Trapped in between your toes? It’s not surprised.”
“What’s wrong with my toes?” Flare asked, pulling her paw backwards, over her head while wriggling her toes.
“Nothing wrong with them, just not very pleasant.”
“I’m sure if you played with them properly, you’d enjoy them.”
“What? Do you wish I had a fetish? One you just said was weird?”
“Just because it’s weird, doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Why don’t we have a little fun?”
“Uh…I’d rather not.”
“Oh come on, I’m sure, deep down, you enjoyed it last night.”
“Doubt it.”
“Well we’ll just have to see then won’t we?”
“What do you mean by that?”
Flare rolled over and sat back up before twisting back to face you. Her paws stretched out towards you, stoping just an arms length from you. She pulled her legs apart and stretched them out, placed both her paws on either side of you. She placed them flat on the bed and pulled herself closer to you. Once in place, she dropped her knees to the sides, putting her in a sitting position, with you standing between her paws. Flare had a hand on each paw as she leant over you. “You like your surroundings?” You weren’t sure whether you liked it or not. There was something in your head, telling you to try to run for it, but also another voice, telling you to stand there and go nuts.
Flare pushed her paws together, pressing you between her soft pads. Flare giggled as she softened up on the pressure. She didn’t want to hurt you or anything. She began to rub her paws together, rolling you between them. She rolled you across one of them into the indent in her toes. She matched up her other paw, holding you in the small section of her toes. Your head stuck out from between it all. She had you trapped, and in a position that she could apply a decent amount of pressure, and still not hurt you. Flare just giggled, stroking her paws as you struggled to free yourself. “That tickles.” She laughed, trying not to pull her paws away, no matter how intense the sensation was. “What do you think you’re doing?!” you shout, your head barely keeping above her paws as she rubs them together. “Having fun. Aren’t you?” “No!” you shout back, causing Flare to become a little saddened. “Fine.” She mumbles, a little upset that you didn’t want to play along. She pulls her paws apart, dropping you to the bed. She falls back to her chest again, staring at you as you get up. “You know you could have at least just gone along with it.”
“Why? I didn’t say I wanted to from the start.”
“Well Maybe I did.”
“Well why should I get no say in it?”
“Maybe because I’m spending my own time to make sure you don’t get hurt. Or maybe I should just throw you to one of my sisters. You’d better hope they would treat you half as well as I did.”
“So…what? I either play with your paws or you won’t help me?”
“I didn’t say that. Just if you’re going to be mean about it, I might.”
“What do you mean, being mean? You played with me with your paws.”
“It’s not like they smell horrible.”
“That’s not the point!”
“Well why can’t I have a little fun for once? Trying to keep everyone in this house working together is boring.”
“Well, why don’t you find something fun to do that doesn’t involve me doing something I don’t want to do?”
Flare gave you an angry glare and sat back up; she spun around, showing her back to you.
Now you’ve done it. You pissed the wrong giant Pokémorph. What was she going to do to you now? She could force you into something you don’t want to do, or she could throw you to one of her sisters, and who knows what would happen to you then. You walk around her to her front, and stare at her face. “Are you alright?” She turned her head in the opposite direction. “I’m not talking to you.” She spun her body again to face her back to you. ‘Sigh’. You knew what you needed to do, although you didn’t want to. Flare sat with her legs crossed as well as her arms. You walk around to the side of Flare, trying to keep out of sight so she won’t spin around again. You walk up to the base of her paw and reach in close. A little resistant, you knew this would make her happy again. You begin to rub her paw. It twitches at first contact, but relaxes as you rub it. Flare looks down at you. “What are you doing now?” You don’t say anything as you keep rubbing her paw. You notice a small smile, stretch across her face. It was working. You then rub your entire body against her toes, in between the section that they connect with the actual paw. Flare wasn’t angry anymore. Very gently, she squeezed her toes over you, curling them around your body. To be honest, it wasn’t too bad really. You kept rubbing, and Flare kept curling. Flare stopped after a few minutes, giving you reason to stop. You sat down in front of her paw as she lay back on her bed with her legs still crossed. Flare got her fun, now it was your turn. You reach out and begin to tickle her paw. “Ha ha! Hey...ha ha…stop that.” You were sure she wanted to be serious, but she made no effort to stop you herself, so you continued. She lay there, laughing as you kept it up. You were at it for at least two minutes straight, and Flare kept on laughing and begging you to stop. You did stop eventually, but not by choice. Flares hand had reached around behind you and grabbed you by the chest and pulled you away from her paw.
“Funny, was that a way of getting me back?” Flare asked you as she rested you on her nose as she lay back down.
“No, just having fun, didn’t you?” Flare laughed at your reply.
“I actually like you…” Flare begins.
“How so?”
“Just…so.”
“So where does that leave us?”
“Hopefully together.”
“Could that work?”
“I’d hope so.”
“Not weird or nothing?”
“I don’t see why not.”
“Well then I like you too.”
“Maybe you should meet the rest of my family then.”
“Didn’t you say that would be bad?”
“Yeah but you have got to meet one day.”
“I guess…”
“So you won’t leave and go back home?”
“I don’t even know how to get back home.”
“Then you’ll stay with me?”
“I’d like that actually.”
“Then you can rub my paw each day.”
“We’ll see about that…”
So this story is just as long as any of the others...although it seems that hardly anything actually happens. May be a bad ending, I don't know. Then again, anything with a non fatal ending to me is bad. Ha!

Well, I'm sure late commenting on this aren't I?
Just two things I wanted to say that felt a bit off.
First was Flare stating exactly how hot her body can get. While I do like how you are using actual pokemon canon for your characters, the way she knew the exact degrees felt very out of place. most people would just say something like "very hot" or "hot enough to burn X" or "Hot enough to melt Y", or even just a rough estimate of the temperature (Like "Over 1500") stating the exact temperature with such accuracy dosen't seem like normal conversation.
The second was the conversation, such as when he first talks to her, but namely the part at the end. While I like that the characters are talking things out with each other, it was a bit disjointed. It was almost as if the characters knew what each other was thinking, yet the audience dosen't, and they were just giving one-word replies to each other to confirm it. It was actually confusing to try to understand what they wanted to say to each other, as I said, it was very disjointed and didn't make too much sense.
