These days, my friend, I believe they'd call it a chiptune. It uses chipset/8-bit type sounds, with traditional instrumentals in accompaniment. It's actually become a thing, believe it or not. Seriously, try typing 'chiptune' (or was it 'chiptunes'? not sure it matters) into Pandora, it's a genre now. There's nothing wrong with using other sounds in an 8-bit tune, or using 8-bit sounds in a normal tune, even if it weren't a genre, mind you. But then, I actually enjoy good game music type tunes. Guess I'm that type of old school gamer geek.

Fortunately, I'm the kind of gamer geek who also still rocks the new games, but I do love me oldies.

As for the tune, I think it's actually pretty fun. Interesting. I enjoyed it, and most of the little bit-tunes you've put out. Even the ones that were just like one-off fuck-offs, in your mind, have been entertaining, and even could have uses. I'm always curious to see what you do with these, because you always find interesting new uses for the sounds. :)
