This poem expresses what I and countless others think of all those people out there who think it's okay to steal from content makers like us, on and off this website. They've got no respect for any of us, and yet they expect us to roll out the red carpet for them when they pretend to work even half as hard as we do. The title was chosen as a reflection of the sort of people supporters of this new form of art theft generally turn out to be from my experience.

I know what some of you are thinking - 'You've already made a journal about AI and how people have used it for scams and art theft, so why tread this path again?' You'd be making a fair point there. I got the idea to make this poem after seeing a friend of mine make a pair of animations that tear into these art thieves. We've both seen them use all kinds of feeble excuses to try to justify what they've done.

For as long as there is no proper regulation of AI and a continuing and startling lack of powers that be who are actually interested in implementing any, the laundry list of problems it has caused in the form of so many unscrupulous people misusing it to further their selfish and often malicious goals will only continue to get worse.
