HEY YOU GUYS MY OTHER HEADMATE FINALLY MADE A FURSONA!!
(and other sentences your grandmother wouldn't understand lol)
Mulch: She/they, porcupine beaver
Pinecone: She/her, red squirrel
The squirrel didn't ever represent both of us, but she also wasn't super interested in the furry side of our life anyway
-but now since we're a fulltime artist, she's been forced to reckon with the new life we've built, and has started to lean into it a little bit.
She's mostly on the paperwork/formatting side of things, but sometimes I go dormant for so long, she has to front for the drawing and socializing.
And that's been... interesting.
Not bad! Just not consistent.
And it takes a toll on her, trying to match my energy and pretend we're the same person to avoid giving people personality whiplash, but sometimes it comes off as insincere
But now that she has her own design, it gives us the space to kinda be ourselves?
And with winter coming (the seasonal depression deleted me completely last year, it was really rough on her) it's important that she gets to be herself.
((OMG LETS CALL IT HIBERNATION, that's gonna help a lot, that's so cute))
I think a beaver porcupine suits her well, kinda stubborn, cynical, to-the-point and low energy. Energy-wise, think dirt and marijuana to my flowers and espresso.
You guyyyyssss, I love how nuerodiverse the furry community is
We're doing a lot of growing now that we're not afraid to be two, publicly.
Thanks for being so cool everybody
and for being loving and patient with this strange creature that is us (/^ w^)/ <3

Gnaw! I'm really happy to see you two out there and proud. It does really help to see her in the shape of a character to understand a bit better why it'd create whiplash. Masking is tough.
The vibe is also that of those two sisters, one with rainbow hair and the other all goth and serious.
except one's bubbly and the other's more reserved.

that's been really helpful for us, depicting personalities physically helps people wrap their brain around us better
when I came out as plural to my sister she looked a little haunted, like I'd been hiding something
and I showed her a drawing I did of us and she was like
oh
yeah you are both of those

Hey, that's super cute. honestly, I can only imagine for Mulch that while not interested at first with furry, that having at least a sona might really be nice for having something as a representation for themself. I know for my room mate who has DID, that it was super freeing having their sona's for each headmate. Either way, your headmate's new sona is lovely Pinecone, looking forward to maybe seeing them around more. :)
Yeah it's nice, breaking away from the design restraints of humans
quills suits her, and kinda gets the point across personality-wise without having to put it into words
; v; I'm so happy your roommate found fursonas
if you don't mind me asking, what's the nature of their DID like
everyone's experience with plurality is so different, I like gathering stories to expand my perspective on what's possible

Hey, congrats on your headmate's fursona! It's always cool seeing friends of furries who aren't furries themselves (yet) get a fursona. I think everyone should try it at least once, it's a fun playful bit of introspection at the very least. And how often do two of them get to share the same brain?
Also, thanks for trusting us and sharing more about yourselves! I love it when anyone whose mind works differently from mine takes the time to explain it, it makes me feel like maybe I might get enough information to understand people someday. And it's helpful to know there's not just one person minding the shop all the time. Sounds like y'all make a good team!
