Usually at the end of the bed but sometimes it likes being a lil more assertive and gets closer to me. I have a few other regulars that like to pay a visit but this one is the most striking I guess?? These aren't hypnagogic hallucinations or sleep paralysis shit, I just kinda hallucinate 🤷They're all always silent and its easy for me to recognize none of them are real since they're all pretty abstract, and i treat them more as an annoyance or a distraction on par with your cat swatting a glass off the table. THANKFULLY this doesn't really happen during the day because idk how I'd feel seeing shit while driving or teaching; If everything happens at home or in some other solitary space then its my problem rather than other people's problem lol
They sorta have 'rules'. They'll stay put and when i move they stay in place... some of them do have some movement to them (i mean, even when we stand still we still sorta wiggle around, yeah?) if I leave the room and come back they're gone. If I turn on a light they yeet on out. sometimes I gotta keep a light on since they don't like that. I'm also not a fan of red light in my room at night since it kinda reminds me of Big Red there lol... Kinda sucks a lot of clocks use red leds.
been quietly suspecting ive been misdiagnosed for the past seven or so years... It sounds kinda dumb but i sorta lowkey thought everyone kinda sees the hatman lmao... i got a bipolar 1 dx in 2015 and was telling one of my partners the other day about just being a lil distracted w/the dudes that are in my room sometimes and mentioning that sometimes I get "there's an FBI man in my walls who knows my sins" shit going on since... 2018? (it comes and goes and if something isn't ACTIVELY happening I don't tend to report it) and it made him give me a certain look. Bipolar 1 does have some psychotic symptoms but since i don't experience any real mood fluctuations when they happen it seems more schizospec/schizoaffective but I'm not going to be able to sus that out until late October since it's a "nonurgent" issue and the psych office isn't in any rush to get anyone in sooner lol....
tl;dr, thought certain things were normal or par for the course w/the dx i was given, spouse gave me a vibecheck, everything actually might be different and I didn't have any clue for years and im not sure how i feel about all that potentially being true (psychiatry is a very imprecise science sometimes)

The fbi/hatman/cameras in electric outlets is pretty common, used to have patients that presented with those symptoms a whole bunch. If your room is super dark as well, your eyes may be making things to "fill the gaps" as it were. Unless they are actively emitting light, in which case that would require more digging. I would say if they aren't malicious in nature, and not having convos with you, it should be fine. A bit annoying I'm sure, but otherwise harmless.
