After coming to Toy Island Spike was initially in a rather dark funk over what had happened to him and his artistic career, he had used his passion to to hurt people all for profit. However he soon broke out of his funk when he found a bunch of arts and crafts supplies that Toy Maker had thrown out and so he decided to reignite his passion customizing himself. he would go on to establish a tattoo and customization shop in order to help his fellow toyfolk feel better about themselves by helping to customize their appearances to what they desire with the help of his fiancé Laurey.
