Tochka Om - The World Through Her Eyes [russian]
After a long pause, I’m bursting into your media space, bringing a brand-new hit! 🤘🏻😎
Just to remind you that I’m not only a drawer but also a piper on the flute 🎶
After a 10-year break I reunited with the dear-to-my-heart creative musical mens, and together we recorded a new song. It has finally ripened, matured, and is now ready to be heard.
This time I limited myself to just the big flute. But oh, what a flute it is! :3
Tried to make a translation into English for understanding the lyrics.
An acoustic ballad “The World Through Her Eyes…”
Having wished upon a falling star,
a tender, youthful, lovely soul
pressed her cheek against my shoulder,
clinging softly, making me whole.
All the poems we had read together
convinced us love must truly be.
And in a soul, so full of dreaming,
reflected such innocence and purity…
The world through her eyes — she who gazed at heaven…
But reality dictates its path.
Like two small grains upon the wind,
piece by piece, we lost so much,
our wings unfeathered, dimmed and thinned.
I forgot what made me love mankind,
how to leave a mark upon the sea?
In the bustle, fleeting days slipped by,
while we struggled, striving still to keep…
The world through her eyes — she who gazed at heaven…
Yet the stern and raging stream of time
etches sorrow deep into our face.
See how beauty, fading in a glass,
dims and dies, dissolved without a trace.
Years flash past like fleeting pictures,
placing periods where commas stood.
And recall what vanished into nowhere —
so distant now, gone so far away…
The world through her eyes — she who gazed at heaven…
