Starving and parched, wandering through the sands, you came upon a mysterious man with a leg of bone. Golden ram's heads—heavy pendants—adorned his ears. He kindly offered you a drink from his waterskin. His eyes shine with gold and glint with turquoise. You feel a strange sense of peace and grace in his presence. Without uttering a word, having fed you, quenched your thirst, and pointed the way, the stranger vanishes into the shimmering haze of the blistering desert.

I am going CRAZY over the symbolism in this character's design!! Amun was one of the ancient Egyptian gods that was sometimes depicted as a man with a ram's head. The eye of Horus is also a sign of healers and protectors. The pattern on the cloth, looks closest to palm leaves? (correct me if I'm wrong) which symbolized immortality. Chevron and zig-zag patterns are usually associated with rivers, and water. Scarabs are also extremely sacred, symbolizing the eternal cycle of life, and seen as luxury items. To even have gold or turquoise, you had to be basically royalty if not a god.
So my thoughts is that this character was meant to be either Amun himself, or a protector spirit that made a pact with Amun in the afterlife. Either way, this design is so cool and gorgeous!! Amazing work!

Hello! And YES! You did an AMAZING JOB (honestly!) reading between the lines. :)
I love to put meaning into my adoptable designs, through colors and accessories. I did quite a lot of research on Egyptian mythology for this man. Yep, the pattern is a palmette—a symbol of life, health, and rebirth.
The little "intro" for him also gave you a clue about his origins, such as his connection to Amun. He has only water and earth to create things and give them to those in need (like water in the desert). He is an analogy for Amun in human form. <3
