What's an RPG-themed character if they don't get a new-age redesign for the modern audience?
Excali-ROAR was a legendary knight whose pride got the better of him and was cursed into the form of a Lion-Man beast! Unable to speak outside of roars and feline vocalizations, with massive paws that render him unable to carry any equipment or blade, one would assume he'd be useless as a noble, but these newly gained features, against his will as they were, grants him the strength needed to find who and defeat whoever it was who cursed him in the first place, if his overly-masculine pride and already beastial nature doesn't overtake his mind before then...
