Kuro save Aponi from her world but she got super ill so PopShot requested tsunami breaking into the facility to steal/copy the data of Mia suit to reengineer it to save Aponi consequently it loses a lot of features inside the suit like they're not able to change their Pokémon form however it gives a lot of utility like having extra storage being a walking power source to quickly recharge your phone medical healing items if needed and other neat and useful features that will help~!
And yes she does have a very much hard crush on Kuro he was the first one that she met and been protected by him
