First of all, I want to give thanks to D. Rushwarth for his wonderful and instructive texts and illustrations of various medieval types of armor and clothing.
I've been wondering of making an armor tutorial for quite some time now. Finally, it was my friend Bluari on DA that made me pull the thumbs out and do it^^ I hope it can proove useful to you all, who's planning of designing armor but feels that it would be nice with some theoretical studied first.
I learned alot myself, makin this tutorial. And i will probably make more of them, since it's called "part 1"^^
The next tutorial will be about thin leather armor and leather combinations!
Thanks for taking a look^^
..and thanks Bluari

It's models from around 1100-1500, Europe. The figgure on th top is from the 1200. The knight in the middle section is from 1500. It's all in the text. FA didnt let it be as long as I wanted, so if you want to read the text, I would tip you to visit the link in the description^^
