After solving a puzzle in some newly discovered ruins beneath Latimas City, Cress accidentally activates a Magnagate with an unusual glow and space-twisting properties. Unaware he was supersized to titanic proportions, he sets off to find his way back to the guild with the help of Byte, his trusty Rotom phone. Will he uncover what the gate did to him, or will he continue stomping through downtown, unknowingly remodeling the city one crater-sized footprint at a time?

The story was inspired by
pinkfairy’s Gates to Infinitesimality. After seeing the potential of Gates to Infinity’s Magnagates, I’ve wanted to write a size change story based on them since there seemed to be a lack of content that taps into its space-twisting properties!

Really really cool story! The puzzle-solving element at the beginning was a fun lead-in to the sizey part!
Hard to not spoil stuff in comments like this, but aaa was a fun romp! I especially loved a particular character, in a moment of role reversal, being all "y'know what? fair."
& apparently I had a little bit to do with this, inspiration? O////O omgggg
Magnagate potential heck yeah! (And it's almost also feeling like several of us becoming a connected circle... PMD size creators on FA >w<, Connected with the Connection Orb)

Thanks! I had a lot of fun coming up with a puzzle for Cress to solve and show off those archeologist skills of his.
Haha! I'm happy you enjoyed the story and that character's reaction! I wanted to make sure my characters had their own unique brand of smugness, and because of that, he plays off others pretty well. I figured he's the type of person that, as long as someone's getting smushed underfoot, he's having a good time.
And yep! If it wasn't for that Magnagate artwork, I'm not sure when or even if I would've landed on utilizing it in such a way.
There's definitely going to be more PMD stories featuring Magnagate shenanigans in the future! (Haha! I like that sound of that! "CONNECTED")
