This is my new fursona, Isa. A few months ago, I felt like I needed a change, so I changed my fursona species from Snow Leopard (Chun, or rather Choopie) to domestic dog as I felt like I was closer to being a dog.

Isa was loosely based off of my puppy Ashe, a GSD/Lab/Chow mix who's roughly 6 or 7 months. When I first drew the lineart for Isa, my mom mistook the picture for Ashe, which was understandable since both the picture and the real dog has happy-looking faces.

The breed that Isa is based off of is an "askal," or a stray mongrel dog, the word coming from the Philippines. I chose the Askal because, being a filipina, I don't know what my true lineage is since so many came and went from the thousands of islands that is the Philippines: Chinese, Spanish, American, Japanese, etc. Being based off the Askal, the fur pattern and color is very "random" as to what a mutt's genes. Appearance:
Isa's main fur color is a brown, originally an "off-black" blue color when I first colored her chibi form. Her "eyebrows" connect to the "halos" around her eyes where two spots are found where it fades from a light orange color to an off-white/gray color.
Isa's back sports a Treble-Bass heart, the treble sign being inverted due to the fact that the spiral is used for the other half of the heart. This represents my love of music, particularly choral music. The Treble-Bass heart is surrounded by a darker blue saddle, like a german shepherd's, that reaches down to the tail's first two joints.
