oh gods so do i.my all time fave is red alert 2.the commandos arnt utterly worthless in that one.in fact they are my first line in defense against attack not only do the have a new option to trench themselves into the ground building a small circle of sandbags round themselves increasing their defence but they also level up when they destroy a few enemy tanks.increasing their defence, range of fire and offensive power of their machingun fire.i build dozens of them wen the skirmish begins.get them to dig themselves in at key points round my base and add a few mirage tanks for backup and the base has an almost impenatrable defense.and omg the chrono legionaries...i only need 3 to take out an enemy bases entire convoy of ore trucks
mmm havent used the soviets much...unless you count all the times my army of engineers take over all the buildings in the enemy base after i take out the Tesla coils and flamethrowers.love engineers.i can totally go Borg on the enemy and assimilate all their technology.wish they would make a C&C game were you can get new stuff after engineers take over enemy buildings.new stuff that is an amalgam of soviets and allied technology.imagine combining an apocalypse tank with a mirage tank ,or a demolition truck with the chrono tanks*drools at the thought.*
