"Icarus was born in a small forest village, the name of which we will leave under the veil of secrecy, since its inhabitants do not particularly like being visited by tourists. No one knows what happened to his parents (or they simply don’t want to tell him), perhaps they became victims of hunters or poachers. So Icarus grew up in an orphanage, in which, besides him, there were several other children (we have already mentioned poachers. And slavery of centaurs is not uncommon in this world). But he didn’t seem to care that he was “alone” and often left to his own devices. He was surprised and delighted by the whole world: from small insects crawling who knows where on a wet blade of grass, to the endless sky covered with fluffy clouds. He didn’t know whether they were fluffy, but he really wanted to touch them. Time passed, Icarus grew, his interests became broader. He became interested in herbs, potions, science and much more. The teachers were proud of him, but were a little afraid... However, not in vain. It all came down to the fact that by mixing something with something, Icarus caused a big explosion, due to which several villagers lost their homes. Fortunately, everyone survived, but Icarus faced temporary exile. He was already an adult by then, so it wasn't that strange. So he settled in a forest hut, which he built to his taste from available materials. Several years passed, his period of exile ended, but he did not even think about returning. On the contrary, he felt comfortable here, among the animals and birds, in this deep silence, in which only the trills of the nightingale can be heard. Without knowing it, he took the path of hermithood. They say that he can sometimes be found in the thicket of the forest: He has changed, matured and become more courageous, and also... His body began to be decorated with two huge snow-white wings, fully functioning, judging by the movement. And only God knows where he got them..."
