After trying out Shantae's Relic Hunter costume, and speaking with a friend...
I opted to make new Relic Hunters. This time with a Jungle motif.
This is actually the first of two such Relic Hunters.

Biography: Sereia is one of the many 1/2 Mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena, being born a day after Marea was born, making her part of the 2nd line of 1/2 Mermaids born to the family. Sereia had grown up deciding that she wanted to be a relic hunter since she was a little girl, but she wanted to specialize in hunting for relics down in jungles, even if there were ruins in said jungles; not caring if jungles were home to quicksand & snakes, or other hazards. Sereia however, did not learn to explore unaided. She knew that jungles were dangerous, so she learned how to defend herself in a variety of ways, such as learning how to fight with a sword & spear. She even learned how to fight with a machete and an axe. However, a whip & bow were also added to Sereia's fighting style as well, though she also picked up knowledge on attacking with guns as well, yet she also learned how to use Jungle Magic, too. Even so, Sereia eventually joined her other sisters who had Sequin Land motifs to assist Shantae herself in protecting the peace there, in addition to protecting her own homeworld of Olympus. As is to be expected from those in Juni's family, Sereia is a very friendly girl, inheriting only the best traits from both of her parents. She's quite the motivational one as she, like her father, never gives up on a quest once one is started. This does however, make her feisty at times. Sereia loves to partake in expeditions that involve jungles, especially if the jungle has the promising signs of ruins. She also enjoys work in paleontology & archeology as well. However, she detests pirates and tomb raiders. Like a handful of her sisters, Sereia is a proven absolute mudlark, always on the watch for quicksand to sink her in for the sheer enjoyment, and she openly gets excited when she discovers signs of it. Owns the most snake fossils.
Abilities: Being 1/2 Mermaid, Sereia is capable of transforming into her mermaid form the moment she enters the water. As a mermaid, like all her other 1/2 mermaid siblings, she has excellent swimming speed, can breathe underwater without the need to surface for air; though she & her other sisters form gills to help with this, too, and she can commune with aquatic creatures of any kind. However, she primarily transforms in fresh, or seawater. And like her mother & siblings, Sereia strongly prefers the water to be clean before she thinks about transforming. Sereia is a talented Relic Hunter as she can easily decipher relics from certain eras without the need for lengthy carbon dating work just by looking at it. She even has talent in identifying the bones of different creatures, and can note what creature the bones belong to, and if it is matched with the right skull, even better. Sereia obviously has a fighting style as well; one adapted to not only fend off her foes, but also to survive in the jungles. A girl of many talents, Sereia has great physical combat prowess in that she can easily defend herself with a sword, spear, axe, and even a whip. She even has a machete that's perfect for not just hacking at enemies, but also clearing away brush when necessary. She also owns a bow in addition, as well as an assortment of guns. While not as magically gifted as Maritza; a fellow jungle specialist Relic Hunter, Sereia does have some potential with Jungle Magic. She even knows how to use Sinkomancy. Sereia starts with the following gear & magics.
Jungle Scimitar: A scimitar well designed for fighting in dense jungles in addition to out in the open. This sword can easily slice through brush & enemies and still retain a sharp enough edge to keep on hacking through more foes.
Jungle Spear: A spear that takes the shape of a Partisan Spear. This spear is specially made to punish enemies, and even heal the land itself due to it sporting magic properties.
Golok: A machete that is used primarily for clearing away brush, but it has its purposes in combat as well, being a lethal chopper.
Jungle Axe: A powerful battle axe that acts as an even more lethal chopper than the Golok, and it hits harder as well. However, it's quite heavy, so it can only get a double slash in as opposed to the Golok & Scimitar's triple.
Spike Whip: A whip of great strength and versatility. This whip is great for striking enemies at a set distance, and it can be used to swing across gaps. It can be upgraded to get sharper spikes in, and if upgraded to Level 3, it can unleash Spike Balls. However, if Sereia takes damage, she'll lose a level.
Amazonian Bow: A bow made with the spirit of the Amazon Jungle itself. This bow is perfect for sniping enemies in the foliage of the jungle.
Revolvers: 6-shot handguns that serve as Sereia's faster means of firing at a distance to take out enemies. Her main revolver is a Colt Peacemaker, but she also uses a Remington 1890 as well. For Double Action power, she owns a Colt King Cobra.
Sharps Rifle: A single shot rifle of good attack power & range. This makes for a good jungle sharpshooter as it can easily pick off enemies in one hit if possible.
Spencer Rifle: This repeating rifle is of the M1865 model, and it's as potent as the originals were. It fires 7 rounds before it needs to reload, but its repeating power means it has slightly less power than the Sharps, but not by much.
Shotgun: Sereia's most powerful firearm. Firing shot, or slugs, this gun packs a very big punch on enemies. Sereia typically uses a Winchester 1912 Pump-Action, which holds 6+1 shots, but she also owns a Remington 870 Pump-Action that holds 7+1 shots.
Jungle Magic: A type of magic that enables Sereia to bring forth any aspect of a jungle in her vicinity when necessary. It ranges from growing trees to summoning snakes. However, she favors making pits of quicksand with it.
Sinkomancy: A fun type of Geomancy that focuses solely on making quicksand, and other variants.
