Name: Shutterbug
Lore Origin: Someone made their lamp into a monster
Actual Origin: I forgot why I made this guy

Appearance: A sentient lamp with a bulbous blue base and a beige lampshade. The bottom of its base is broken off, revealing a mass of black tentacles. His lightbulb peeks out to reveal an eye, and uses a plug as a "tail". Also has a functional pull string.

Description: Commonly found in furniture stores and the like, Shutterbug is a little bit of a miscreant found on Amalgamma. Tends to do whatever it wants, whenever it wants, and wishes to be as much as a minor inconvenience as possible.

Story: A lamp brought to life via a parasitic infection. No one is entirely sure of its origins, but it seems that original attempts at movement caused the lamp's base to shatter, spilling out the parasite within. It died in that lamp, and he's just now getting used to living like this. He kept the lamp for... who knows why, really. He just wanted it.

*Would torment a nuclear family in the middle of America.
*Might use he/it pronouns.
*Doesn't know that "shutters" are meant for things like windows.
*Often gets his own name confused with "Shuttlebug", despite that being far more wrong.
*Might be illiterate.
*You can probably tug on its pull string to make it light up the room. Mostly desensitized to people doing that.
*Despite appearances, is not affiliated with the CORRUPTION.
*Loosely based on the Lamp enemy from Mother/Earthbound Beginnings.
