So I saw this meme floating around DA for a while and the topic of "take something you used to really love and draw it again" made me think of this piece, which I at the time dubbed "A Night in the Gerudo Fortress (and I am keeping the name...even though the cell they toss you in has no bench or window)
So I eventually dug it out since I knew it was in a drawing book under my bed and thus easyish to find since most of my stuff is loose papers not books (note under my beds is CRAMMED with old art, tons of it, dating back to when I was ten years old) and the thing is when I found it I was like "this is it?!?" I ended up going through all of my old drawings to be sure this was it (gave myself quite the nostalgia attack) because I remember being so proud of the shading, texture and detail and...it hardly had any of those 3 things!!!
So here is the redraw...I feel like there was little improvement BUT I drew the 2001 one at the beginning of when I was learning how to even draw humans in the first place (up until high school I drew only animals) so my people drawing skills improved quickly and by 2004 my ability to draw humans was pretty much rounded out and perfected...
(and I could not help but add some scars and generally make it look like Link has seen a lot of conflict since you are mostly done with the game by the time you get to the Gerudos)

Did something similar to this a few years ago, though I didn't know it was bouncing around DA too, haha.

Yeah I'm just saying that's how it looks, probably because it's gently sloped rather than obviously cinched at the ankle. It's just a small thing but I tend to see the body underneath when I look at things - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v.....inkbootred.jpg
so by where you have the ankle joint it seems a bit squished. I'm not trying to nit-pick, just provide constructive crit. I think the pic is really good overall.
