Mr. WPNZ x Kitty Kat: Partners in Crime (COMM by Traitmill)

Traitmill This was the result of me realizing something as I watched 'SMG4' and 'The Bad Guys 2'. Two characters that I think would get along rather well, given how similar they are. Unapologetic criminals? Lost everything when they treated those close to them too harshly? Volcanically temperamental when things don't go their way? Not to mention, one of them has already shown to have a thing for cat anthros.
Thus, Mr. WPNZ x Kitty Kat is here! Maybe there'll be a side-story in the future that expands on the following story, but for now...)
"For a long while, Mr. WPNZ thought literally the only good thing happening in his life was Toomp entering it, the slime-like creature basically becoming his successful second chance at fatherhood. Apart from that, he still had to deal with fleeing from the Death Cube while ALSO dealing with the hole in his heart that the betrayal by Mr. Puzzles left in him. There was somebody he thought he could relate to after his relationship with his family (especially Katanna/Karen) crumbled...and all meant nothing in the end to his so-called 'partner'.
For a long while, Kitty Kat was a total wreck, even after a random portal teleported her away from the prisons he got locked up in. Her ultimate plan was ruined. Her teammates no longer wanted anything to do with her. Now, in this new crazy world, she struggled to make an impact, no longer having quite the same drive as she did before. After the failure of a scheme like the one she almost pulled off...she just felt likes he was going through the motions.
Perhaps it was fate (or, more likely, dumb luck) that these two would meet at a bar, when Toomp tried to nab some of Kitty's lollipops. One bar brawl and car chase later, the two would find themselves meeting a lot more often, with them eventually being hired for a rather dangerous job. It was an alliance of convenience, with both still bitter about the prospect of any team-ups.
However, it was through this adventure that the two began to see eye-to-eye on many things. They had the same love of causing mayhem, the same joy at the thought of battle, but it was a slow process. Trust was something that both had in short supply (especially Mr. WPNZ), but it wasn't long before they became an unstoppable trio (as Toomp always tagged along with them, often having to play peacemaker whenever they argued).
The Mushroom Kingdom was now dealing with a most devious team-up. A snarky walking arsenal, a sneaky strong snow leopard anthro, and a ruthless shapeshifting blob. All poised to make a name for themselves as they slowly felt alive once more.
Perhaps...there might be something more happening between the main duo of the trio. Mr. WPNZ had to admit. He had never felt like this since his time with Karen...and Puzzles, to a lesser extent. As for Kitty, the idea of a 'Bonnie and Clyde' thing going on between her and the cybernetic one started to slowly appeal to her...

Indeed! It probably helped that both that SMG4 movie that featured him and Puzzles happened around the same time as 'The Bad Guys 2'. I gave it all some thought and, thus, this happened! Also, another bit of trivia, in the deleted scenes, Kitty and Diane were best friends (like sisters, too) in crime until Diane had an epiphany and chose to walk away from it all...leading to a falling out with Kitty.
