1. The subject “Yilkras” has been located in an unmarked vessel drifting through abandoned regions of the Tangled Shore, operating in low power mode in an attempt to remain undetected. We’re confident that they are unaware of our presence monitoring them.
2. The subject was formerly an agent of House Salvation, they defected before they could be fully corrupted by Dark Ether and converted into one of the Scorn by VIP #4503. VIP #1889 has confirmed that they are no longer working with the Black Fleet, supposedly most of their memories were damaged or destroyed, potentially due to the presence of Dark Ether. They have no desire to return to the Black Fleet, only wanting to “live somewhere warm.” No immediate action is needed.
2.1. VIP #1889 also notes that Yilkras has a chilling presence about them, refusing to clarify if it’s literal or metaphorical when questioned. Although the subject has been seen keeping linens and space heaters aboard their vessel.
3. Vanguard operatives that have engaged with the subject have noted the use of undefined paracausality, confirmed by ghosts to be aligned with darkness. It was used defensively to escape and subdue those in pursuit rather than to harm. Agents suggest this was to dissuade future operatives from shooting first and asking questions later, diplomatic proceedings are being considered.

Stasis specialist fireteam “Bleak Watchers” have been studying what glimpses of paracausal darkness the subject has been displaying, supposing it is a consequence of partial corruption from VIP #4503 and their use of the Echo of Riis. They suggest that it could be a form of Necromancy that raises decayed memories into shrouded ephemeral servants. They seem to have altered their mask to help with the use of their Necromancy. The full potential of this ability is unknown.
5. The subject has been confirmed to collect comfort objects, keeping them around their workspace and lounging areas. There’s a clear affinity for keeping a warm and comforting environment, much like what VIP #1889 attested. They have been seen wrapping themselves in layers of blankets while having their shrouded servants bring them warm drinks.
