Well, well, look who is among the fictional Leos I've covered, it's the Ultimate Lifeform himself, Shadow the Hedgehog! Debuting in Sonic Adventure 2, Shadow has been one of the most compelling and complex Sonic characters as initially he started off rather antagonistic and brought many impressions that he was going to be a new villain to the series, but it turns out that there is more Shadow than what meets the eye. He was the creation of Dr. Eggman's grandfather Professor Gerald Robotnik with the sole purpose of saving his granddaughter Maria from a deadly illness. It was then that Shadow and Maria would share a special bond with each other, but sadly it was all taken away when the government took the lives of Gerald and Maria Robotnik while Shadow was frozen in stasis which he stayed in for about 50 years until he was released by Eggman into the present time, and the only thing motivating Shadow was revenge on humanity for the death of Maria. His encounter with Sonic had him rather hostile towards his blue counterpart, but eventually following his character development after learning and getting encouragement from Amy that there are good humans out there, softening him up in the process, they became rivals at best, and he would become an iconic anti-hero. He also shares a business-like partnership with Rouge the Bat (fitting since she's a Leo herself, and the Leo and Leo relationship dynamics often tend be strictly professional), with whom he also formed a team with E123 Omega known as Team Dark, and they are a force to be reckoned with as they can harness the power of Chaos Control. Shadow continues on to this day being an enigmatic character, but he nevertheless offers a helping hand to Sonic and the gang from time to time, and his arc is so engrossing, from his sacrifice to his revival where he tries to discover if he is his true self or a duplicate. Considering all the aspects to his character, I see Shadow fits perfectly being a Leo, and as such his birthday shall be on August 14th, so happy birthday to him!
