Croagunk is definitely very associated with Team Galactic, well... more so in Pokémon Platinum Version as if we're talking Diamond/ Pearl & Remakes, Team Galactic is more associated with Wurmple's Evolution line, minus Saturn & his Great Grandmother, Coin.

Surprisingly Maylene never uses Toxicroak in DP/ Pt/ BDSP. However, she does use Toxicroak in the Sinnoh Leaders, Type Experts & World Leaders Tournaments in Black 2/ White 2.
