Nothing beats a deluxe pizza pie like the kind from the motor city!
Ingredients:
1 can pillsburry pizza dough
1/2cup pizza sauce
1cup shredded mozzarella
1&1/2 dozen pepperoni slices
1/2 diced bell pepper
1/2 diced onion
1 sliced green onion
1tbsp garlic seasoning
Recipe:
1-preheat oven to 425
2-in a well greased “deep dish” pan, spread your dough then poke the bottom with a fork several times
3-spread your sauce and add cheese+toppings
4-bake for 8-10 minutes until crust is golden-brown and cheese is bubbly and melted, then let cool and remove from the pan to slice
5-enjoy!

Wuffy finally got a taste of a real 'Detroit-style" pizza a few months ago. A local parlor opened, advertising 4-square and 8-square pies. The 4-square was absolutely DELISH!
They're using a great sauce and really tasty ingredients.
But the secret is in adding extra oil to the pan, and running the melty, oily cheese right up to the edge so it melts and runs down the sides.
The oil gives the edges and bottom crust an almost "deep-fried" quality, extra-crisp and crunchy. And the inside stays soft and pillowy.
Totally delightful!
