Very touching, and I was pleasantly surprised to read it.. well written.. and heartfelt.
I, myself, am Bisexual.. but.. I'd never be able to tell my family. Unlike the mother in this story, mine would never speak to me again, knowing that. For lack of better words, they are strictly religious. They are Homophobes. And they would never, no matter how much they 'love me'.. would they accept me for who I am. And Sadly, I'm sure that goes the same for many. If there was an easier way to tell them, and keep living the way I am, instead of kicked out, to make it on my own, I would take it. I wonder if one of the other versions of this story will be similar to that?
You're a wonderful writer, Jeeves. Very expressive and real with your writing. I've read many of your stories from SoFurry, originally, and so on now, here. I can't wait to see the other versions of this story. It's a great idea and one that's very original, I believe, and I look forward to the next chapter.

Oh, jeez, almost cried! Personally, I am pretty sure I would never have this problem if I were gay, because my mom has told me herself that she wouldn't care if I was :) But a lot of the comments here say that their parents wouldn't love them, or talk to them again, and that is just so sad :( I wish we lived in a world where sexuality didn't matter; where you could love whoever you wanted without persecution.
