Celeste's husband, who turns out to be hiding more than a few secrets about himself, including his true name. He's actually an incredibly skilled chemist on the run from a mysterious organization, who unfortunately catch up to him and he's soon found murdered in his home. This sets in motion a chain of events which eventually results in the accident that gives Celeste her powers, and also to her attempting to find out the truth about who he was.
