Time Patroller Karda
Age: 780
In the ruins of West City, a beaten and battered Trunks and Gohan laid on the broken streets of the once marvelous city as the rain fell.
Floating over them were the twin terrors of this world Android 17 and 18.
When they finished off Gohan instead of leaving to cause more destruction they instead stuck around to more or less kick the corpse a few times until Trunks showed up.
With the loss of his master Trunks flew into a blinding rage which transformed him into a Super Saiyan but this was for not since he only awoken his ability and had no control over it like his mentor.
So the second hope for this timeline could only fall as he was beaten like an animal.
“Well, that was disappointing,” 18 sighed in annoyance.
“Yeah, the runt barely put up a fight unlike the other guy,” 17 said as the floated down and looked over the beaten half saiyans.
“Think he's down for good?”
“Don't know but…let's fix that,” 17 said as he pointed a finger and began to charge up a beam.
Right as the dark haired cyborg was about to fire, blue and white blur suddenly slammed into the Red Ribbon android and sent him flying past his sister who was shocked to see her brother slam into a car before hitting a building.
“What?!...” was all she got out before a blue ki blast suddenly struck her and launched her into the wall next to 17.
The first to recover was 17 who climbed out of both the smashed car and building wall looking mostly okay if not roughed up.
“Okay…who's the dead…dog…” was all the dark haired cyborg could say as he stared at the newcomer.
Standing between the twins and the saiyans was a blue and white furred wolf with yellow and black eyes wearing a navy t-shirt with black bandana, he wore a pair of blue baggy cargos being held up by a black belt and black knuckle gloves.
Climbing out of the rubble, 18 glared as her favorite jacket got destroyed by the wolf's blast.
“Seriously, Fido here nearly caved in your head plate 17 and ruined my outfit. He must really be looking to be turned into a fur coat,”
“Now sis, let's not be too mean. Now we got new doggy to play with,” 17 said as he dusted off his clothes.
“How about it Rover, want to learn how to roll over, beg, and play dead,”
The wolf just glared as he popped his neck and knuckles.
“Dog jokes, cute,” the wolf said as he dropped into his fighting stance. “How about we play fetch with what's left of you when I rip you two apart,”
“Guess we got to put him down 17,” 18 said as she got in her stance.
“Guess so 18, oh well let's see who rips his tail off first,” 17 said as he charged forward followed by 18.
The wolf fighter glared as he could see what their plan was, try to distract him with one while the other hit his blind spot.
Too bad he already had a plan around that.
Without warning the wolfman charged forward and grabbed 17 by his head before pulling a reverse bulldog on the android while sending a kick into 18's gut knocking her away.
While in mid-air the wolf slammed the dark haired cyborg's head into the ground before landing on his feet to glare at the two.
“If that was your best, I'm honestly disappointed,” he said as he rolled his shoulder.
Suddenly the ground exploded as 17 pushed himself up and glared at the wolf before spitting out some blood.
“Okay, so you got some moves but dodge this!” He shouted before firing a ki blast at the wolf who slapped the attack away.
Only to take a blast in the back as 18 came charging at him.
“Crap, right, both work in tandem,” he growled before blocking both of their punches at him.
Grabbing 18 in a headlock, the wolfman kicked 17 in the gut before swinging the blonde around and throwing her into him.
“Take this!”
Firing a blue ki blast at the two, the wolf glared as he saw the dark haired android smirk before pulling up a barrier causing the shot to bounce off.
“Close, but no cigar furball,”
The wolf continued to glare but then smirked.
Seeing this the cyborg was confused when his twin suddenly grabbed him and jumped into the air with him.
“17 MOVE!”
An explosion went off right where they stood from the kai blast from before.
“What…how?” 17 said as they looked to see some scorched marks where the blast was deflected towards before seeing another that was pointed towards where they stood.
“Oh you cheap mother…”
Suddenly another blast nearly grazed his head as the wolf gave them the bird with a cocky grin.
“Oh you are so dead!” 17 shouted as a green electricity began to form between his hands before throwing it at the wolf.
Seeing the oncoming energy wave, the wolf glared before holding out a hand and firing off a blue ki blast.
Both attacks collided and at first seemed evenly matched but the electric strike seemed to be winning.
Seeing this the wolfman glared and began to grit his teeth as his beam seemed to shrink at first but instead seemed to compress from a blast to a thin wave.
With a snarl the one ki blast became a ki blade slicing the attack in half.
Both halves of the wave slammed into the street next to the canine kicking up dust and debris.
As the dust cleared the wolf glared at the place the two once floated only to see no sign of them.
“Dammit…where?”
Before he could finish, the wolfman suddenly took a gut punch from 18 followed by a kick to the head by 17 which sent him bouncing a few times across the street before he landed through a smashed store front.
Both androids stood in front of the store as they saw the wolf pick himself out of the smashed store shelves.
“Must say, Rover here seems to have a few good tricks in him 17,” 18 said as she brushed her hair back.
“Seems so 18, too bad they were not any good,” 17 said before forming a kai blast and firing it in the store, destroying the front and the back of it.
As the dust cleared only a large hole where the wolfman once laid was left.
“Guess that's that,” 17 said, dusting off his hands.
“Good, I need some new threads. The mutt ruined my outfit,” 18 said as she turned to leave.
Only to suddenly stop as she spotted something odd.
In front of her in the ground was a small glowing ball of energy that seemed to pulse.
“What is…” she began only to feel a tap on her shoulder as 17 pointed to another nearby that started to glow.
As they looked around they noticed more and more off the glowing balls of energy surrounding them until they realized they were in the middle of them.
“What did he…”
Before the dark haired android could finish the energy balls detonated at once covering the two in an explosion of blue Kai energy.
From nearby the earth erupted as the wolf hopped out of it looking okay but a little roughed up.
“That was too close,” he said, rotating his arm to loosen it before popping his neck.
“Glad, I blasted my way into the sewers,”
*seconds before the blast*
Seeing the beam come his way, the wolf pointed his hands down and blasted the floor away causing him to fall through it.
As he fell he watched the beam fly over him and destroy the shop before he landed in the sewer below.
As dust kicked up, a grin appeared on his muzzle as he formed an energy ball and slowly sent it up through the hole he made. One after another he sent a few till he felt there was enough.
‘Even if they are not close, this blast should still rattle them,’ he thought as he sent the last ball up.
*Present*
As the dust cleared once more the two androids stood battered but not even winded.
“Okay, now you're really starting to tick me off,” 17 said as he readjusted the sleeve on his shirt.
“If that's the case then in the next few minutes, you are really going to hate me,” Karda said as he charged at the androids.
Firing a ki blast at the wolfman both were shocked to see them go through an after image of him.
“Where did he…” 17 began.
“17! Behind you!” 18 shouted as she turned in shock to see the wolf behind 17.
Before the android could react the wolfman grabbed the dark haired cyborg's arms and pinned them to his sides.
“WHAT ARE YOU!?”
Before he could finish, the wolf suddenly lifted the android off the ground before leaning back and slamming him into the ground with a German Suplex causing a small crater to form from the impact.
Both 17 and 18 were stunned by this, one from the impact and the other seeing someone use something so crude of a move to paralyze her twin.
Flipping off the dark haired cyborg, the wolf suddenly dove at 18 and hit her in the neck with a lariat slamming her into the ground.
Sliding away from the duo, the wolfman panted as he watched both androids slowly climb to their feet as they tried to pull themselves together from the sudden hits.
“Okay…when did this turn into pro wrestling?” 18 asked as she rubbed her neck.
“I don't know but I would think that was cool, if I wasn't right now wanting to tear this guy's head off,” 17 replied as he held his head from the impact.
The wolf just grinned as he casually twisted and popped his back, followed by his shoulder.
“What can I say, sometimes I like to make sure my opponents don't get back up, but it seems you two can handle what I'm bringing,” he said as he dropped back into his stance. “To bad the next one will finish this,”
“Oh yeah…let's see what you got!” 17 said as he charged forward at the wolfman, while 18 held back as she was still recovering from the neck blow.
Unlike before the wolfman stayed in place and simply dodged the dark haired android’s attacks instead of countering or fighting back.
Throwing one heavy punch at the wolf's face, the android's hit was caught by the lupine and easily held it in place with barely any effort.
“I think it's time for you to see my best trick,” the wolfman said with a grin as his tongue hung out the side of his mouth.
Before 17 could ask what he meant the wolf once more grabbed him and pinned his arms to his sides.
Expecting another slam of sorts the dark haired cyborg tried to wiggle his way out only to go wide eyed when he watched the wolf open his maw and clamp it over the android's head and torso.
With a wet chomp followed by a few gulps, the wolf fighter swallowed most of 17 up till only his legs and feet hung out of his mouth.
A loud gulp was heard as the cyborg was swallowed up and dumped into the wolf's gut which bulged out of his shirt.
“17!” 18 shouted in shock from watching her brother be devoured by the wolfman.
The wolf's belly bulged and stretched as 17 fought inside the organic sack.
“Ugh…tasted like I thought motor oil and rotten,” the wolf said, rubbing his muzzle.
“YOU WILL PAY!!!” 18 shouted as she charged forward to try and free her twin.
Seeing her coming, the wolfman easily side stepped the blonde haired android before kicking her away with a round house into a building.
Laying in the rubble 18 tried to pick herself up when she saw the wolfman seemed to be building up energy.
“So…you want him back…not a problem,” he said as his gut seemed to compress followed by a bulge traveling up his throat. “The guy is giving me indigestion anyway,”
Suddenly the wolf opened his mouth as a green energy ball gathered in it.
With an echoing bang the energy ball flew out like a cannonball and slammed into the blonde cyborg.
An explosion rang out as the building she was once embedded in collapsed down on her.
The wolf said as the wind and dust blew past him but didn't bother him at all.
Once the dust settled both androids were laid out in a now open lot where the building once stood.
“...who…who are you!?” 17 who was now reformed from being the energy ball the wolf shot out at his twin.
“...since this is your end I'll let you know, my name is Karda…and that is the last thing you two will know,” Karda said as he pointed his index and middle finger at the two and held up his thumb while holding his wrist with his other hand.
“What are you…?” 18 added as she tried to help her brother up.
Suddenly a blue beam fired like a bullet from the wolfman's fingers and connected with the two. Next came an explosion that shattered any remaining windows nearby and toppled a few buildings that were ready to collapse.
The wolfman's fur and clothes whipped around from the shockwave but that soon died down to reveal a much larger dirt field where the two once stood.
All that remained was the burning scrap of 17's scarf which smoldered away into the wind.
Karda sighed as he relaxed and looked for any other signs of the two but could see there was no trace of them.
“It's done,” he sighed.
Suddenly a ringing was heard in his ear.
Reaching up he tapped a small device that was clipped on the edge of his ear.
“This is Karda, report…”
“YOU WENT TOO OVERBOARD!!! AGAIN!!!” an angry feminine voice shouted over the earpiece causing the wolf to whimper as he tried to hold his ringing ears.
Once he was sure he could hear again Karda rubbed his ears before replying to his boss.
“You told me to stop them before they offed Trunks and that's what I did…”
“I said stop them and drive them away! Not obliterate them!” The female on the other end replied.
“Oh…oops…so…is this going to be a problem with the timeline, stream, thing?” Karda said as he looked over the mess he made.
“Ugh…No…this can be fixed but it will take some work, also did you make sure Trunks is still alive before you started blowing the place up?” The wolfman's boss asked as he could feel her glaring at him through the headset.
“Uh…” Karda began he looked back to see where the two once where.
Gohan's body was still in the same place but Trunks…was embedded through the grill of a semi truck and laying on the engine block.
Rushing over the wolf time patroller checked the young man's pulse and was thankful to feel it, along with hearing both a heart beat and breathing.
“Karda! I don't hear any response…”
“He's fine, he's fine just a little…scuffed up,” the wolfman said easily picking the half saiyan up. “I don't think he will remember what happened here too much so…don't have to worry about explanations as much…”
“Fine…just make sure he is safe before we pull you back,”
“Roger, I'll drop him off at his home and the very least give his master set up to get a proper burial,” Karda said as he looked back at Gohan.
“You don't have too…fine, just make sure to be quick,” the female on the other end sighed. “Kai of Time out,”
“Roger, Karda out,” the wolf said before hanging up.
Picking up the younger saiyan Karda sighed as he walked over picked up Gohan.
“I never like coming here, it always makes me feel depressed but…it always makes me feel good when I try to make it better,” he said to himself before taking off to Capsule Corp.
