Peter Vanderhelp was a man who spent his life hunting various monsters, including vampires. He was a nervous man who always seemed to fear for his life, but desired to truly help those around him being tormented by all manner of creatures. He was great at his job... until he finally ended up in a situation where he was caught unaware by an ambush. It was surly the end for him.

That was until he found himself transported into a new strange world, where he was now a toon Jiangshi girl by the name of Tsukyo, who resided in an expansive, multi-layered dungeon owned and managed by a demon lord.

The realization of being a monster, and surrounded by other monsters, was an initial shock to the former monster hunter. However, Tsukyo herself was very friendly and open, viewing all around her as a possible friend. She didn't really talk much, but liked to be helpful. She was also a bit clumsy when it came to meeting explorers! This contrast of opposite ideals, feelings, and memories was definitely difficult to handle at first.
