Further adventures in D&D roleplaying, yes, one of our players actually tried to use diplomacy using only the word "beard", and if it had suceeded I know what the DM would say, "the lizard man is now thoroughlly convinced that you have a beard".

There's actually a magic in the game that makes you grow a long silver beard that gives bonuses, I really want to get to a high enough level so I can cast it on him, jsut to see what would happen...

It's called Silverbeard and it gives a +2 armour bonus.

It's worth mentioning that as far as I remember, it's not silver-colored, it's silver.
The armor bonus is there because you can STOP A BATTLEAXE WITH YOUR BEARD!

Now THATS pure beard power... Nothing says "im so manly I can stop a battleaxe with my beard" like ACTUALLY STOPPING A BATTLEAXE WITH YOUR BEARD.
