Ten years ago on Deviantart when I created "Ask Juniper Ebonywood" just for fun. And it was the time I deep down believed (I still believe now) that her comic "Juniper of Ebon" needs a remake. The first question asked by Blockdasher91 aka Level1-1Crusader. He asked June about what kind of dream career she had and she wanted before she became a priestess of her birthplace, Echidna Town, the capital city of the country of Lavendria of planet Ebon. June responded him by saying she didnt know what kind of dream career she wanted and even embraced her destiny like her ancestors whether she likes it or not. But deep down she craves for freedom.

When I drew her answer to his question. At first I thought she would feel tired and abit bored of the responsibilites of a high priestess of the Ebonywood family from generation to generation. But when I keep develop characters and backstories for the future Canon Mainstream Sonic adaptation series, I realised that Juniper actually looks way more troubled, sad. worried, anxious and distressed than tired and bored. So this art comes off as darker than intentional. This is a girl who was sent to the orphanage on earth whe she was a baby during the Ebonywood massacre by Lancelot the green Echidna. Juniper doesnt want to escape responsibities of being a priestess. She realized that her role as a priestess is more Life threatening. A target for evil villains like Lancelot. This role will not just put herself in danger but also her loved ones too.
