Fang is a dreamer of the eastern vampire dragon subspecies. She appears in chapter 4 of needle travels, trapped in the snow of Leng de Mountains. She asks the group to return her to her home in Leng de Town. After completin' this mission, she gives the group an item called the Main Dream Neko, which heals every 20 HP if is used by a member of the group. She also explains how she got lost in Leng de Mountains. She had to retrieve a toy that, apparently, got lost for some strange reason. After retrievin' it, she apparently lost her way and ended up trapped in the snow. She is quite playful, curious, a little silly but cheerful at the same time. She likes to play with the tones of her voice. She has white hair with pointed ears covered in fur, purple skin, and orange/yellow eyes. She wears dark purple/pink clothing typical of a jiangshi, or Chinese vampire, and carries a scroll in her Head, pink cheeks, yellow/orange teeth, black/dark boots, long sleeves and small wings, she like the other bat-based vampires, uses the ♠ at the beginnin' and end of her dialogues with a cantonese accent, her design seems to have been inspired by jiangshies, toy soldiers, nutcrackers, and wyverns (the species of vampire dragons are inspired by wyverns.
In the neutral/pacifist route, after bein' rescued and taken home, she will also help the group by disarming traps in the Temple Ruins. she will also have goniejak as a companion, a chimera dreamer who will also help the group. apparently, fang is goniejak's creator, since, accordin' to Fang, she created it with love, tenderness, and a lot of magic. After defeatin' the titan guard, fang will be with goniejak in funky town. fang will tell the group that she needs some cookies to feed it along with milk. In the burnin' route, although fang will appear and be an ally of the group, she will notice a strange presence and gradually distance herself from the group until she disappears from the temple euins and funky town. however, goniejak will appear, sayin' that it misses fang and needs her.

Apparently, goniajak was actually her beloved plushie, whom fang considered her best and only friend. It seems that after growin' up, goniajak came to life and appears to watch over fang. the whereabouts of her parents are unknown; it's possible she was adopted. some runerus mention that her parents died from unknown causes, so it's possible that these runerus, alon' with goniajak, took care of fang and lied to her 'bout her parents bein' elsewhere.
