Recently a bizarre new disease has been spreading all over the city. A strange virus that, while harmless to kids and adults, is a bit problematic for youths ranging from 10 to 17 years of age.
Dubbed by the community as "Bad Influence-A", this virus doesn't cause any sort of health issues or have any deadly or fatal effects... but it is a tad corruptive. Take for example one of the first few subjects who caught the virus. At first glance, young Violet Parr seemed to be fine. That was until the first stages of Bad Influence-A kicked in. She began feeling more light headed at random intervals, and occasionally would talk back or comment badly about her family behind their back to a concerning degree. Thankfully the virus can be treated thanks to a special type of pill that can mellow out the user. Take enough per day, for a set amount of days and the virus should leave the subject's system.
The problem however is making sure the subject sticks to this routine.
Because of the nature of Bad Influence-A, the effects can cause a heightened degree of rebelliousness and aggressiveness. Unless someone is there to help them, these heightened personality traits will result in the subject refusing to do anything their parents or authority figure of choice tell them to do, allowing the effects the gradually get worse and worse until they fully corrupt the infected subject.
After Day 5, the virus had already gotten to Violet, and the signs were all there: Increased Aggressiveness, Increased Rebelliousness, and on top of some rapid weight gain, her more negative and disobedient traits had fully warped her personal tastes and personality traits. The once shy and introverted teenage Super, was now nothing more than a large, disobedient punk of a girl. It is theorized that one can be cured after reaching their final corrupted state... but the possibility of that happening is currently unknown...
An idea that my friend had was "a virus that could corrupt kids and teenagers and turn them into large, mean and disobedient punks", so we put something together to showcase it.
