Cassea's coil wrap

This is one of the pieces I made for Artfight this year, and the final piece.
This one is for
HybridiumX of their fursona Kai/Stardust. Also featuring my own character Cassea.
As you can imagine, I felt like a bit of a madlad trying to do an animation, but before I knew it, it was going really well and I was sucked into it.
I was initially just going to polish the sketch up and throw the colours on there kinda messy, I wasn't gonna be too precise with the lineart. but I ended up getting way too absorbed into it so it ended up more polished than I'd expected it to be.
Still it was kinda fun even though I had to stay up late in super crunch time the night before Artfight ended.
My bestie Ally was also finishing off last minute revenges too and so we were like checking in on each other until she had finished and could finally go to bed haha. it was certainly a unique experience.
but fun snake coiling animations are always worth it :3
