Finally it’s done. This took me for over a week D=
My entry for the summer contest 2011 from the RVW Fanclub on DA.
Theme is: ‘What if Hellsing took place in another time and place?’
And I chose ancient Egypt.
Yaaaay, I had a good excuse to draw her again \o/

I was thinking so hard about what I could draw for the contest and then suddenly an old, very special friend of mine came to my mind. She aroused my love for vampires sixteen years ago on her 30th birthday (it was a vampire-themed-party^^) and she was a great fan of Egypt. So...

If you wonder why Rip wears glasses 2000 years BC, I do have an explanation! =P (thank you  sitshl for the research <3)
That’s because Chenti-irti, the God of the blind and those who suffer from eye affliction had mercy with her and gave them to her (he was also the God of law and order btw.).
Yup…
She was just not recognizable without them and besides I think it’s what makes her look so cute <3
Instead of the usual Swastika she’s wearing the Ankh, just like Sachmet, the most powerful Goddess of war, does sometimes.
And of course there were no firearms back then, so her weapon is a Khopesh here.
…and Schrö makes friends with Bastet xD …that just suggested itself…
Dunno what the hieroglyphics on the sarcophagus mean… I hope I didn’t write something like ‘punks not dead’ or so xD

Naahww, I had so much fun drawing this, although it was pretty exhausting at some parts.
