I've had this in my scetchbook for quite some time, inspired by Voltaires song "Goodnight Demonslayer" which is definently one of the most badass lullabies ever written. The bottom line is: "oh yeah, there's plently of monsters, but you can KICK THEIR ASSES!"
I wanted Marie to look a bit sinister in the background, because people can often look a bit unsettling when backlit, the invisible eyes and bright smile was definently inspired by the game Depict1.
