I recently got a whole bunch of Chili Peppers albums. This one really struck me, so I had to do it.

wow....this is freaking awesome. I was practicing this song for kareokee for the past few days and listening to it over and over. it is strange how it would show up here. maybe it is a sign XD but you do this really awesomely. I never thought of hearing this song as a full vocal piece. you did wonderfully one of these days I wish I could do something vocally with someone else. I have a couple barbershop tags on my page but they are just my first attempts at it with a shit mic. and tenor kicks my ass x_x
When I listened I heard an open 5th at the part you're talking about. it's in A minor and the minor triad is implied, but whenever I hear it I fill in the harmony I wish was there.
It's more interesting to throw in a borrowed I chord and it makes the transition from AM to Am whith the start of the chorus more dramatic.

My god man, You can do no wrong. There have been maybe two songs that didn't fully strike a chord *sorry the pun WAS intended* with me, aside from that I love most everything I have heard from you, Keep it up Pep and lately I've had artistic motivation so my drawings are back on track so I hope to hear your thoughts sometime.
Lol! That means the video did it's job! :P
That RCHP video was one of the first music videos that really impressed me. Growing up in the 90's, I always felt the videos on MTV were uninteresting and overrated. It seemed like the coolest effect most directors could think of back then was to alternate between colour and bw shots. I do think videos have improved considerably these days.

Apparently I had listened to this
before since it's in my faves but
I can't seem to recall listening to it
Listening to it now...no special
comments. Magic voice is magic
and that is it.
I've got the Peppers playing in
my head non-stop lately!
1. I have been particularly
melancholy as of late
2. I have been reading
Anthony Keidis' autobiography
(It's quite enthralling an entertaining
actually. As explicitly sex and drug drenched
as to be expected but there's something
compelling getting a look into this artist's
heart and soul.)

It was a ton of fun to record. It's also my go to song for karaoke heheh.
Gotta get more of those for the next time I go :3
I don't understand how anybody keeps their lives going on drugs.
It's hard enough to get everything that needs to be done, done.
Seems like everything would fall apart.

I think it comes to be like a fatally debilitating
superpower of sorts. You can endure the wages
of incredible damage while all the while
it's eating you from within, without.
Drugs are so often like taking a chainsaw
to yourself and than patch working it all
back together with duct tape.
