Today I have an ink dragon. This charming little beast is related to elementals, but rather than being an element he's more of a compound. Like cheese weasels, butter otters and wood squinks, and many other household familiars he's formed from common items - in this case, ink.
Ink dragons are quite handy as they can be trained to eat mis-spelled words and drink any spilled ink you might have, and can charge one's dip-pen by licking the nib. However if they become distracted they may run across your page and leave dozens of tiny inky footprints, or become bored and nibble your gerunds.
