A very interesting start to what I'm sure is going to be a great story! Though I think Bryce showed his cards a wee bit too soon, also, you would think that the UTO would have created something like "sanctuary systems" where no one but humans are allowed to travel to and settle in for those who just don't want to be anywhere near giants. Still, really cool stuff and really good writing!
Hey, Thanks! Daniel and Brooke already knew what Bryce was. Without solid evidence though, there's nothing to be done about it. The UTO could surveil Bryce I guess, but Revenant has its own AIs to deal with that. Plus, even if you know someone is coming after you, there's only so much you can do to prepare.
As for the sanctuary systems, its a good idea, but wouldn't they be easy targets? Also, its stated the UTO has laws allowing any species to travel and settle without restrictions. That would mean that sanctuary systems would have to be independent from the UTO, which is possible, but could they muster the warships and soldiers needed to protect themselves? Maybe. The UTO verse is pretty wide open to explore interesting concepts.
