In 2007, I designed a mascot for a minor league hockey team called the Quad City Flames. I did it for a contest. My design was one of three chosen by the Flames staff for them to post on their website for fans to pick a winner. My fox got the most votes and became mascot of the team!

In 2009, the Flames moved to British Columbia, and Firestorm hasn't been heard from since. I miss ya, my "son". ;(
